The Saint Paul's Baptist Church is celebrating an exciting century of ministry reaching around the globe and the inspiring hope we have for the future. From a small band of believers that gathered on a cold Thanksgiving night in 1909, God has grown our church family to impact the lives of millions across the country and around the world.
We are a progressive, forward looking congregation of "people on the grow." We believe that the rest of our days will be the best of our days: that's why we are excited! We are bonded together in vision and mission. We are captivated by the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. We have been transformed by the Holy Spirit, redeeming, forgiving, and empowering us to grow in all that God created us to be. We are passionate about sharing God’s love and power with people of every language, culture, race, and nation. We have declared Sunday, November 22, 2009 as our Centennial Sunday, although we have been celebrating all year long. As we "celebrate our legacy and pursue our destiny," we invite you to join with us in marking this historic moment. Our prayer is that this celebration will propel us into an even more powerful future as we continue to pursue our vision of "finding needs and meeting them, finding hurts and healing them, finding problems and solving them." We are touching the world with love!
