As we reflect on all God accomplished through us in 2013, we look to the future with greater excitement. The Word of God teaches us that our God is a progressive God and subsequently, God has given the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church a progressive vision for 2014 and beyond. Support this vision and watch God bring it to fruition by sharing this prayer focus daily.

Living a holy life, contrary to popular opinion, is NOT a boring life. Having fun within the safety parameters of God’s holiness keeps us safe. God came to give us life and life to the fullest. The Word says that God has given us all things richly to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:16).  When we have fun, we are a portrait of God’s totality of abundant life.

Pray that we smile more—it increase our face value.

Pray that we laugh more—it is medicine for our souls.

Pray for lasting joy—it is the fruit of the Spirit that God wants us to abundantly have.

Pray that in the proper context, we have fun that glorifies God.
